Add it in Tori
- Open Settings with the gear in the title bar.
- Go to Appearance.
- Shades of Purple is already there: it ships inside Tori. When the catalog has a newer version, Add a theme lists it with Update.
Adding writes one file and runs nothing. Themes have nothing else to install.
Use it without the catalog
Download the file and drop it in the folder below. Tori picks up a theme at once.

A dark theme. It is offered on the Dark tab of Appearance > Theme, and the sun and moon button in the top bar switches between your dark and light choice.
